Life brings hard seasons, like a surgery, a loss, a stack of VA paperwork, or a week when you just need a ride. When that happens, your fellow veterans are a phone call away.
Our volunteers are fellow veterans and family members from Bayview. Here's what we can often help with:
Rides
Rides to medical and VA appointments, the pharmacy, or errands when you can't drive.
Paperwork
Help finding the right forms, and connections to accredited Veterans Service Officers for VA claims.
Home
Meal trains after a hospital stay, light yard work, or a hand with small tasks around the house.
Connection
Regular calls or visits, especially for veterans who live alone or are recovering.
Family
Support for spouses, caregivers, and families who have lost a veteran, including help with honors and arrangements.
Referrals
Introductions to VA, county, and community programs for housing, health, employment, and more.
Asking for help takes courage. Use this form for yourself, a neighbor, or a family member.
1. Tell us what's going on.
2. A member of our support team will reach out, usually within two business days.
3. We'll help directly or connect you with the right resource.
Requests are shared only with the volunteers needed to help and are never made public.
